AMY J. HODGSON, M.A., is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). She holds a Master's Degree in Psychotherapy and Counseling from Adler Graduate School in Minnesota. She has been in the mental health field for eight years working with diverse populations in residential and outpatient settings. She enjoys working with individuals, as well as families, couples, and teens, with a wide variety of presenting problems. Her approach is collaborative, encouraging, open and affirming. Her theoretical orientation includes humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, family systems and eclectic. Specialties include depression, anxiety, relationships, GLBT issues, adult and childhood abuse and trauma, as well as adjustment, trauma, PTSD, bereavement, and readjustment of military personnel/veterans and their families.
