AMY M. JOYCE, M.A., is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). She holds a Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and Professional Counseling from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. She has been in the mental health field for the past four years working with individuals, couples, and families. Her specialty is working with adolescents. She also enjoys working with children, incorporating play therapy within an open and creative context. Other interests include grief & loss, depression, anxiety, relational conflicts, relaxation skills, sexual abuse, suicidal and self injurious behavior, trauma, and mood disorders. Her theoretical orientation involves taking a collaborative stance, incorporating empowerment, emotionally focused, humanistic, and systemic/relational approaches.
