CINDEE TORKELSON, M.A., is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). She holds a Master's Degree in Psychotherapy and Counseling from Adler Graduate School in Minnesota. She has extensive experience working with teens and adults in the context of education, restorative justice, and therapy. She currently provides assessment, diagnosis, and individual, couple, and family therapy to teens and adults. Special interests include: conflict resolution, self-esteem issues, physical/emotional/verbal/sexual abuse, boundary setting, assertive communication, chemical dependency issues, anger management, women's issues, depression, anxiety, PTSD, divorce, & parenting. "I have discovered that people are willing to choose productive and healthy lifestyles, if they are taught the necessary skills and are encouraged to achieve their personal best. It is my goal to instill hope and encouragement to each client. The reward for me is to see an increase of self-esteem and self-worth in each individual, as they achieve their personal best/goals."
