CORRINA (CORRIE) M. BROWN, M.A., is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She holds a Master's Degree in Community Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She is working toward her license in Marriage and Family Therapy and has a Certification in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Cloud State University. She is a Certified Nurturing Parenting Program Facilitator and will complete her intensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in April of 2008. She has 10 years professional experience working with children, adolescents, families, and couples through work as a psycho-educational facilitator, a family preservation therapist, an in-home family therapist, and a behavioral health, in-patient therapist. Corrina's special interests include the use of Play/Art therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Bowenian Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address issues of grief & loss, trauma and interpersonal communication.
