KAREN ACKERMAN, is in the process of completing the internship portion of her Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. Karen is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). Karen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human & Behavioral Sciences from Minnesota State University - Mankato. Her areas of focus included Alcohol & Drug Studies, Corrections, & Sociology. Karen has worked in the Corrections field as a counselor with individuals and groups for several years. Current areas of interest include grief and loss, boundary setting, and working with couples and children.
