MINDY HEINEN, M.S., is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She holds a Master's Degree in Community Counseling and a Certificate of Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Cloud State University in Minnesota. Mindy has experience in providing therapy and mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in the community, residential and psychiatric hospital settings. Her theoretical foundation is based on Bowenian Theory, and she practices therapy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) approaches. Areas of interest include anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, couples therapy, family patterns and relationships, and parenting issues.
