PATRICIA L. GORMAN, M.S., is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She holds a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from St. Cloud State University. Her primary areas of interest include working with, adolescents, & their families. Other areas of focus include behavioral assessments, program development, and childhood trauma issues. Her special interests include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), oppositional behavior, trauma, emotion regulation, depression, personality disturbances, stress management, family patterns, problem-solving skills, spirituality, and interpersonal communication. In addition to working with adolescents and families, she also enjoys working with adults and has experience with dealing with individuals who have engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior. Her therapeutic approach is strengths based and collaborative, drawing on narrative, cognitive behavioral and problem-solving strategies to help individuals address barriers to healthy living.
