SARAH BARRETT, M.S.W., is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). She holds a Master's degree in social work with a concentration in mental health from Loyola University Chicago, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the College of Saint Benedict. Sarah enjoys working with adults across the life-span and older teens. She is experienced in counseling individuals and couples who are dealing with a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, other mood disorders, marital difficulties, grief & loss, issues related to self-esteem, women's issues, relational conflicts, communication problems, caregiver burden, and stress related to job/retirement issues. Sarah utilizes cognitive-behavioral, insight-oriented and relational theoretical orientations in therapy. Her approach to therapy is engaging and collaborative, empowering the individual or couple to recognize their strengths, improve their understanding, and resolve conflict in order to make important changes in their lives.
