                                                                      Sarah holds a master's degree in social work with a concentration in mental health from Loyola University Chicago, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the College of Saint Benedict.  Sarah enjoys working with adults across the life-span and older teens.  She is experienced in counseling individuals and couples who are dealing with a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, other mood disorders, marital difficulties, grief & loss, issues related to self-esteem, women's issues, relational conflicts, communication problems, caregiver burden, and stress related to job/retirement issues.  Sarah utilizes cognitive-behavioral, insight-oriented and relational theoretical orientations in therapy. Her approach to therapy is engaging and collaborative, empowering the individual or couple to recognize their strengths, improve their understanding, and resolve conflict in order to make important changes in their lives.

                                                                      Sarah holds a masters degree in clinical social work from the College of St. Catherine/University of St. Thomas and a bachelors degree from Grinnell College. She is experienced in counseling adults and adolescents and specializes in working with relational difficulties, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief & loss, substance abuse, and self-esteem issues. Sarah’s approach to therapy is psychodynamic and relational, while also drawing
                                                                      from cognitive-behavioral frameworks. Her interventions support clients in developing compassionate self-understanding and help them build their ability to choose effective courses of action. She works collaboratively with her clients to identify strengths and find pathways towards positive change.

                                                                      Amy holds a master's degree in marriage & family therapy and professional counseling from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University.  She has experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Her specialty is working with children and adolescents, in which play/art therapy is utilized to provide an open and creative environment where children can heal and grow.  In working with children, Amy also provides parental/caregiver support to enhance holistic change and growth.  Other clinical areas of focus include grief & loss, depression, anxiety, relational conflicts, life transitions, suicidal & self injurious behavior, and trauma. Her approach in working with clients involves a collaborative stance, which encompasses empowerment, emotionally focused work, and relational approaches. Amy believes in supporting each client along the path of their own healing journey toward positive transformation, and in doing so, helping clients live more balanced and connected lives.

                                                                      Kathy holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology
                                                                      from the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Professional Psychology.  She has been working with individuals, couples, and families for over 10 years. She has also gained experience facilitating support and issue-specific psychoeducational groups. Kathy has worked in a variety of settings including
                                                                      inpatient and outpatient hospitals, home-based therapy, and in outpatient mental health clinics.  Throughout Kathy’s education and training, she has worked hard at gaining broad clinical experiences and developing competencies therein. This breadth of exposure has allowed her to develop her assessment and intervention skills with a diverse population of clients. Her areas of interest include working with individuals, couples, and families on issues related to anxiety and mood disorders, relationship/marital difficulties, family dynamics, health psychology, stress management, and psychological evaluations. Her collaborative approach is grounded in systems/relational, humanistic, emotionally-focused, and cognitive-behavioral theory.
