In Teens of Divorce Support Group, two trained facilitators will guide participants through an 8-week support group processing the impact of divorce/separation on their lives, including the emotions and life changes teens often experience related to the divorce or separation.
In addition, participants will learn life skills to help them effectively cope with stress, communication, conflict, as well as transitions and other adaptations related to parental divorce.
This group provides a safe space for teens to discuss their feelings with other teens experiencing similar things.
To ensure we are consistently meeting the unique needs of the group, teens participating in this group will have the opportunity to provide input into both the content and process of the group
The group will be led by Master level interns, Diane Sparish and Leah Faiad, supervised by Amanda Sasek, MS, LMFT.
